When I turn 70, I want to be Vijay Amritraj.

I want to be recognizing a foundation—in this case, one that bears Vijay’s name—for its 18th year of important work. “The Vijay Amritraj Foundation brings hope, help and healing to the defenseless and innocent victims of disease, tragedy and circumstance in India,” explains the non-profit. “Driven by our firm belief that in giving we receive, the foundation pledges to make a real difference for those who are most in need of the helping hand of humanity.”

And I would like that recognition to take place in Las Vegas, replete with golf, tennis and a swanky gala:

I want to be inducted into a hall of fame—as Vijay was just days before turning 70. On Tuesday, the International Tennis Hall of Fame made the announcement that Amritraj will be inducted into the venerable institution’s Contributor Category, which “recognizes true pioneers, visionary leaders, or individuals/groups who have made a transcendent impact on the sport.”

Amritraj was also an outstanding player, leading India to Davis Cup Finals in 1974 and 1987. But it was, and continues to be, his work off the court that made him a natural for induction. Amritraj—like his son, Prakash—is a renowned tennis commentator, a position he’s eminently qualified for given his time as an administrator in the sport. His impact on Indian tennis cannot be understated, nor can his humanitarian work.

This is truly a blessing, and an honor to be included in the history of tennis, among the greats who have played and served the sport,” said Amritraj, who alongside fellow Indian Leander Paes will become the first Asian men to be enshrined in Newport. “It is a gift from above for me and my family and an honor for India.”

I want to be traveling the world, Instagramming pictures with movie stars. Like this one, of Amritraj and Leonardo DiCaprio:

Or ‘gramming from Wimbledon in a sharp suit:

Most of all, I want to just be able to say thank you to those you care about most, while looking back on an amazing life. As Vijay put hit himself,

Thank you to so many wonderful friends family [and] well wishers who have sent me such lovely birthday greetings as I celebrate a milestone birthday of 7 decades. @vijayamritraj007
